If you plan to hike this 'loop' trail, please make note that the trailheads are 1.5 miles apart, so the distance between should be added to your total mileage unless you are able to catch a ride between them. I apologize that 95 of this video is me telling Brandon not to fall, but you might see mid-vid. Awa'awa'puhi gets off to a slow start but picks up steam about halfway. Our Kauai hike on the Awa'awapuhi trail to the Na'Pali Coast. Even though this trail is fairly even, we recommend sturdy hiking boots since it gets quite slippery when it has been raining. Pleasant trek all around with panoramic views at a couple of places along the way, but the best is certainly at the end. Near the end of this trail is the Nualolo Cliff Trail which will take you over to Awaawapuhi Trail (another great hike).
